Powering up data analytics in marketing and business development

About this project:
In 2024 we ran 4 projects to provide predictive models that would help us better plan how we allocate resources.
"We have had an excellent relationship with the Royal College of Nursing who frequently submit multiple projects to provide additional capability whilst creating efficiency in execution, support and impact."

Executive Summary
Predictive Model | Resource allocation
Project One was designed to support our Communications Campaigns Analytics project, looking at our previous ballot campaigns in RCN England. We want to understand who are our most engaged audiences and use this to predict campaign results. These insights will help us strengthen any future ballot campaigns, making them even more relevant and engaging to our members.
Project Two used historical data to understand non-attendance patterns in order to predict future event attendance. This helped us to enhance our planning process.
Project Three's focus area was to determine why, and predict when members may end their membership. This data is used to help determine financial planning cycles and identify opportunities to re-engage members.
Project Four helped us automate how we extract data from the Office for National Statistics on the latest labour market stats, where they related to health & social care. Automation helped us to make better use of new data insights, reducing the manual process and saving time.
Results:
- Predictive models: to better plan and allocate resources, improving our contribution to the Nursing & health sector
- Automation: timely insights delivered efficiently by removing the manual process
- Additional capability: Ability to extract more value from our data by engaging with data professionals through Nurture
